What is Seagulls Lotto?

Seagulls Lotto gives you the chance to bet on a non-UK lottery and win life-changing prizes twice a week whilst also supporting Albion in the Community, the club's multi-award-winning independent charity.

Unlike traditional lotteries, where the prize pool is distributed from the sale of tickets, when you purchase a 'ticket' for Seagulls Lotto you are placing a bet on the outcome of the German national lottery. This means you can expect on average jackpots of £7.5m with rollovers of up to £40m.

To place a bet all you need to do is simply select six numbers from 1 to 49 and one 'Legend' number from 0 to 9 and keep your fingers crossed!

Draws take place every Wednesday around 6pm and every Saturday between 7pm and 10pm. Six numbers (the main numbers) are drawn, plus with the 'Legend' number. Lotto bets cost £1.50.

Average prize categories are shown in the table below.

Prize Category Match Average Estimated Win
1 6 MAIN NUMBERS + LEGEND £7,556,954
2 6 MAIN NUMBERS £485,157
3 5 MAIN NUMBERS £2,820
4 4 MAIN NUMBERS £35
5 3 MAIN NUMBERS £8
6 LEGEND 0.5 free lotto bets**

** Except through a Lotto Syndicate, and subject to any other conditions on the applicable betting screen

Remember, the Legend number is only relevant when you match six main numbers and the Legend number, or fewer than 3 main numbers and the Legend number.

More information on placing bets can be found in the Terms and Conditions page.

If you still have further questions just contact our customer service team (call 0207 048 0301 or email: service@seagullslotto.com).

How do I bet at Seagulls lotto?

  1. Select six numbers from 1 to 49 and one Legend number from 0 to 9 or click Quick Pick for a random selection.
  2. Select the draw days and the number of weeks you want to place bets for.
  3. You'll be asked to log in, or open a Seagulls Lotto account if you don't already have one. Simply follow the prompts to place your bets and once completed, your lotto bet details are stored safely in your account. You can see your bets at any time in the Lotto Bet History.

How do I find my lotto bet?

Your lotto bets are saved in the My Account area under the Lotto Bet History tab. All accepted lotto bets are recorded here and you can access and print your bet details at any time.

What happens when I win?

If you win you will be informed either by email, SMS or by a change in the status of your lotto bet to "Win" in the Lotto Bet History of your account.

Here's how we pay your winnings:

Free lotto bets

You can win free lotto Bets by matching just the Legend number without matching 3 or more main numbers. Free lotto bets will be credited immediately into your free lotto lines balance and can be used to place future lotto bets.

Wins of up to £2,499

These will be paid into your Player Account Balance immediately. You can either choose to withdraw the funds to your nominated bank account or use them to place more bets.

Wins of £2,500 to £99,999

These will be paid into your Player Account Balance, once we have verified the win with you. For example, you may be asked to provide official documentation with photo ID. You can either choose to withdraw the funds to your nominated bank account or use them to place more bets.

Wins of over £100,000

These can only be claimed by contacting our customer service team (call 0207 048 0301 or email: service@seagullslotto.com) who will arrange payment of the funds directly to you either by cheque or bank transfer, subject to verification of the win.

How does a subscription work?

You can make sure you never miss another draw by ticking the option marked 'Subscribe to Seagulls Lotto' on the game panel. When you make a subscription lotto bet the same lotto numbers will be bet on every draw automatically until further notice. You can view or cancel your subscription lotto bets at any time in the Lotto Bet History area. Subscription bet cancellations are processed at the end of the current period e.g. if you selected a period of 4 weeks, your subscription will stop at the end of that 4-week period.

What are free lotto bets?

Free lotto bets enable you to bet without using your own cash balance. You can win free lotto bets by matching just the Legend number (0.5 bets awarded) or by receiving free promotional vouchers from time to time.

When can I bet at Seagulls Lotto?

Lotto draws are held on Wednesday evening (around 6pm) and Saturday evening (between 7pm and 10pm). The deadline for betting on the next draw is indicated by the countdown timer on the betting panel. Please note, if you start to place a lotto bet before the deadline but do not submit it successfully before the deadline has passed, your lotto bet will not be accepted for that draw.

Where can I find results?

Results are published as soon as they become available on the Results page, where you can also search for the results and winnings breakdown of previous draws.

How long until the results are known?

The results are published on the Seagulls Lotto website as follows:

  • Wednesday's draw results and winnings breakdown are published on Thursday.
  • Saturday's draw results and winnings breakdown are published on Monday.

Winnings will not be paid until the results have been published on the Seagulls Lotto website.

What happens if I lose my connection while betting?

If you lose your internet connection while purchasing a lotto bet, your lotto bet may not be placed successfully. Successful bets will be issued with an on-screen confirmation, an email receipt and will also appear in the Lotto Bet History.

What is Albion in the Community?

Albion in the Community is the club's multi-award-winning independent charity. For further information on Albion in the Community click here.

How much goes to Albion in the Community?

Seagulls Lotto is operated by Lotto Network. Brighton and Hove Albion FC donates all proceeds that it receives from Lotto Network directly to Albion in the Community. This equates to 26% of every bet, which for example is 39p of every £1.50 lotto bet sold.

What is The Supporters' Syndicate?

The Supporters' Syndicate is the best way to give yourself multiple chances to win. By betting in a group with other fans you will massively enhance your odds of winning.

How do I bet?

All you need to do is choose the days you wish to bet (Wednesday/Saturday or both) and how long you want to bet for. We'll do the rest, adding your bet into a syndicate with other players. If someone in your syndicate wins, the winnings shared between all the players in the group.

How does it work?

There are 100 lotto bets in the syndicate giving you 100 chances to win! Each time you bet you purchase a syndicate share. All winnings divided equally between the shares.

When you play the Supporters' Syndicate all the work is done for you, so you can sit back and wait for your share of the winnings!

How much does a Syndicate bet cost?

A bet into the syndicate costs just £2.00, which is a very cost-effective way to increase your chance of a win!

Can I place more than one bet in a syndicate?

You can place as many bets as you like but it is not possible for us to guarantee that all of them will be part of the same syndicate. Our syndicates are compiled automatically and depending on the number of others betting at the same time, your bets may or may not enter the same syndicate.

Can I bet in The Supporters' Syndicate with my friends?

All syndicates are compiled automatically by Lotto Network, so when you place your bet it will be allocated to the next available syndicate. This means that although you can't guarantee your bet will be entered into the same syndicate as friends or family, you can take part whenever you like with no hassle and no paperwork.

Why can't I choose my own numbers?

To enable us to compile our syndicates more efficiently and to maximise the amount of prize money won, our system allocates numbers automatically that the Syndicate will bet on. This means that it's not possible to choose your own numbers.

Can I use my 'Free Lotto Bets' to place a Supporters' Syndicate bet?

No. Free Lotto Bets can only be used to place normal Lotto bets.

Why bet on The Supporters' Syndicate?

The only way to increase your chance of winning is to place more bets and The Supporters' Syndicate gives you the chance to do that at a price you can afford. Around the world many jackpots are won by syndicates, so give it a try!
